Why does the Paid plan include 5 projects?

We designed the Paid plan around how most teams actually use Mida.

In practice, the majority of our customers run experiments across one or two projects, such as:

  • One project for a marketing or landing site

  • One project for a product or web app

  • Occasionally a third project for a secondary site or campaign

The project limit in the Paid plan is designed to comfortably cover these common setups without adding unnecessary complexity.

A project isn't one per domain. Put the same snippet on your main site, your shop and your app, even on different domains, and they all sit in one project with visitors tracked across them. The Free plan includes 1 project and the Paid plan includes 5.

When teams need more projects than what’s included, it usually means they’re:

  • Managing experiments across multiple brands that each need to be reported on their own

  • Running tests for clients

  • Operating as an agency or consultancy

In those cases, the Paid plan is no longer the best fit and that’s intentional. We offer an Agency plan designed specifically for teams that need a higher project allowance and a more scalable setup.

If that sounds like you, just reach out to us and we’ll help you find the right plan.
