Troubleshooting: NitroCDN caching Mida's script

Created by Aaron Liew, Modified on Thu, 25 Sep at 12:10 PM by Aaron Liew

We’ve identified that NitroCDN is caching the Mida script (cdn.mida.so) and removing crucial attributes, which can cause issues with A/B testing—particularly in tracking new visitors accurately.

To fix this, you’ll need to exclude the Mida script from NitroCDN optimization

Steps to Exclude the Mida Script in NitroCDN

  1. Go to Cache Settings

    • Log in to your NitroCDN dashboard.

    • Navigate to Cache Settings.

  2. Enable Excluded Resources

    • Find and enable the “Excluded Resources” feature.

  3. Add a New Exclusion Rule
Use the following details when adding your rule:

    • Asset URL/Code: *cdn.mida.so*

    • Resource Type: JavaScript

    • Resource Relation: External

    • Device: All

    • Excluded Operations: Leave blank (this will exclude the script from all optimizations).

  4. Clear NitroCDN Cache

    • Once the rule has been saved, clear your NitroCDN cache.

After completing these steps, NitroCDN will no longer interfere with the Mida script. This ensures that your A/B testing functions correctly and visitor tracking remains accurate.
